Thank you for making the first annual Florida Ice Cream Festival a tremendous success. As a first time held in Florida, we expected attendance to be between 3,000 – 7,000. But what happened surprised everyone …. Approximately 30,000 people attended …. more than any first time event held in Lakeland. We are so proud of our community and its support for our affordable family event.
The net proceeds will go to the Magnify Life Foundation, which supports financial literacy in Polk County Schools and many other worthy causes.
By your show of support, the Florida Ice Cream Festival is here to stay! Please be understanding because we look forward to improving next year’s festival by learning from the issues we experienced from an unanticipated record crowd. This year’s inaugural festival was only the beginning. The 2nd Annual Florida Ice Cream Festival will be even better!
